Patriot Self Storage FAQ’s
How much space do I need for my stuff?
Check our Unit Space Estimator page, and speak with our Storage Specialist, they will be able to show you sample units, so you can get the right amount of space you need.
When can I move in? Move Out?
You can move in any day of the month and your rent will be pro-rated for that month, we request you give us two weeks notice prior to the end of the month, and remove your lock when moving out.
When can I access my unit?
You can access your unit 7 days a week, 6 A.M. – 11 P.M. Please see Hours of Operation & Gate Access Hours.
What documents and information do I need in order to rent a unit?
We require a current picture ID, Social Security card. (If these items are unavailable, please speak to our Storage Specialist for alternatives) Current address (or TBD address) Contact phone numbers, Signed Rental Agreement.
What forms of Payment do we accept?
All major Credit Cards, Cash, Check, and Auto Debit.
Do I need my own lock?
Yes. We do sell locks and all packing & moving supplies for your convenience.
Can I reserve or book a unit on-line.
No. For our customer’s safety and security, we request all potential renters come in to our location and fill out a Rental Agreement with all necessary documentation. You can however call ahead and book an appointment to save time.
Do we require insurance?
No we don’t, but we highly recommend that you carry some form of insurance for your belongings in the unit. You are responsible for the items you store at Patriot Self Storage. Please speak to our Storage Specialist; they can inform you of options that are available.
What are Climate Controlled Units.
These particular units maintain a set temperature range; they are heated during winter months, and air-conditioned during summer.
Can other people have access to my unit?
Yes, but only those you specify on your agreement and by giving them your individual Gate Access code, and key or code to unlock your specific unit.
